Welcome, Dr. Corey Harkins!

Plastic Surgery Center of the South is pleased to welcome Dr. Corey Harkins to our esteemed group of surgeons. With the addition of Dr. Harkins, our practice can now serve an even broader group of patients, thanks to his impressive range of skills. Dr. Harkins has a great depth of knowledge ranging from cosmetic procedures to complex breast reconstruction with tissue flaps or breast implants. He’s an Atlanta-area native who’s pleased to serve the community that raised him.
Dr. Corey Harkins in a dark suit and blue necktieDr. Harkins grew up in East Cobb, not far from our Marietta practice. After pursuing his education at prestigious institutions around the country, he has settled locally with his wife, gastroenterologist Dr. Shanil Harkins.
Dr. Corey Harkins graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame before getting his doctorate at the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his 6-year plastic surgery residency through the University of South Florida affiliated hospitals.
In addition to popular cosmetic procedures, Dr. Harkins completed training and research in breast reconstruction, microsurgery, and maxillofacial surgery. At our practice, he’ll put this specialized knowledge to use for both our cosmetic and reconstructive patients.
